431 – High strength and good corrosion resistance
431 is a high chromium-low nickel hardenability martensitic stainless steel with high strength and good corrosion resistance. Due to its additional high torsional strength, the products is well suited for use in pump shafts, nuts & bolts, studs, valve parts, or other uses where high tensile properties are required.
