Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of our marketing initiatives across multiple divisions. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to learn, contribute creatively, and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of marketing — from campaign creation to digital execution and supplier communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Advertising & Campaign Coordination
- Prepare advertising briefs for internal products and branding initiatives using templates and Excel schedules provided.
- Liaise with the graphic designers for creative design output.
- Coordinate ad placement by sending final artwork to the designated media buyer
- Email Marketing
- Create and schedule email marketing campaigns for EMVAfrica, Multi Alloys, and ENERGYValves.
- Manage mailing databases by adding/removing subscribers and segmenting audiences.
- Develop new campaigns based on stock updates, promotions, or management direction.
- Pull email campaign reports and survey data for analysis.
- Website Management & Content Briefs
- Compile content and image briefs for website updates and revamps.
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers for implementing changes across three business websites.
- Perform basic backend updates (e.g., uploading PDFs, updating contact info).
- Branding & Internal Communication
- Coordinate branded email signature setup for new and current employees.
- Support the creation of branded documents and templates using design software (e.g., internal comms, e-books, posters).
- Social Media Management
- Maintain posting schedule for EMVAfrica’s LinkedIn and Instagram accounts.
- Ensure all content is branded with a watermark.
- Coordinate, capture, and post content from all three divisions, including photos and short videos.
- Signage & Print Collateral
- Send briefs, images, and artwork to signage supplier for internal branding (e.g., flags, truck branding, desk tags).
- Request printing quotes and coordinate production with suppliers (business cards, brochures, certificates, etc.).
- Content Creation & Photography
- Capture product and operational photos/videos for marketing use.
- Coordinate editing with the graphic designer for the final output.
- Meeting Support
- Using AI or manual notetaking to capture meeting minutes.
- Distribute minutes to relevant stakeholders post-meeting.
- Finance Administration
- Send approved marketing and advertising invoices/quotes to Finance for payment processing.
- Organise and save all marketing-related invoices and quotes on the shared Work Drive.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Basic design ability (Canva experience preferred).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Interest or experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creation.

Salary: R16 000-R20 000 /Month (Based on Experience)
